SNPedia is a website that shares information about the effects of variations in DNA, citing peer-reviewed scientific publications. It is used by Promethease to analyze and help explain your DNA. Promethease is a program that creates a personal genomics "report card" for a person, based on comparing that person's DNA data to SNPedia. The program is downloaded and run from the person's own computer, ensuring privacy.
